What about God ?
Theosophists
are usually keen to tell you that they reject the notion of an anthropomorphic
god. This type of god is a human construct with form and the ability to think,
factors which would impose serious limitations.
Theosophists
accept that there must have been a first cause for the universe to exist but
maintain that this cause is beyond our comprehension and it is pointless to
speculate on it.
In the
Secret Doctrine, H P Blavatsky described the Theosophical approach to the idea
of God:-
An
Omnipresent, Eternal, Boundless and immutable Principle on which all
speculation is impossible, since it transcends the power of human conception. It is beyond the range of reach and thought.
Higher
Beings
Theosophy
postulates the existence of higher beings termed Dhyani Chohans (Lords of
Light) which are intelligences acting as the architects and expeditors of the
manifest universe, conducting the processes of the Cosmos
