Evolution
(Everything evolves)
The term
evolution is generally used to describe the gradual development of plants,
animals and humans over long periods of time. This definition covers an
important but very small section of the evolutionary market.
Theosophy
maintains that there is no dead matter in the universe and that everything in
the universe is evolving. Theosophy also maintains that everything (even a
rock) has consciousness. Of course an item which we would term mineral cannot
experience consciousness as we humans know it, but it does have a level of
consciousness and it is evolving.
Evolution
is a process of unfolding. Everything has latent potential and evolution is the
bringing of that potential into manifestation. This applies to everything from
the single atom to the Human Being.
